If your preferred day and time is fully booked there is a waiting list you can join. To secure a table right away, click the “Book a table” button. If it’s full, choose “see available tables by month” – there we list all available times for each day.

Unfortunately not — indoor space is limited. To keep things comfortable for all guests we have a dedicated outdoor area where you can leave the pram.

Verandan and Solliden sit on the hill inside Skansen with one of Stockholm’s most beautiful views. Just inside the main entrance there is an escalator up to the hill. At the top, turn right and follow the road to Sollidsplan. Alternatively, walk the main path to the right and continue up towards the Solliden area. The walk takes about 10 minutes through Skansen’s historic surroundings.

Solliden is one of Skansen’s best known and most loved places. The restaurant and terrace sit high above Djurgården with a magnificent view of Stockholm and have for generations been a natural gathering place for Stockholmers and visitors alike. Set in the world’s oldest open-air museum, Solliden unites Swedish history, culture and gastronomy in a way few other places can.
Yes, of course! We warmly recommend arriving a little early or staying on afterwards to enjoy Skansen’s beautiful surroundings and everything the park has to offer.
